Aduro’s new facility combines functionality and identity.

Aduro, a manufacturer of modern wood-burning stoves, pellet stoves and hybrid stoves, has built a new facility bringing offices, development and warehouse together under one roof. The building has been designed with a strong focus on functionality and an expression that reflects the company’s DNA.

The facility is located on a wedge-shaped site with a level difference of more than six metres. This has been utilised to create both views over Aarhus and an efficient layout for logistics and traffic flow.

For the project, Peikko delivered a total of 647 linear metres of DELTABEAM® Green composite beams across 94 units. The beams are made from more than 90% recycled steel.

The beams were delivered with pre-installed railing sockets, making installation easier for the site team. Around the stair opening, the DELTABEAM® Green composite beams were supplied with curved formwork, simplifying the work on site and improving efficiency.

“It has been an exciting project where precision has been crucial. We installed more than 800 linear metres of beams without any need for cutting or welding on site, which says a lot about how well everything came together.

Peikko has been flexible and solution-oriented throughout the process, with a clear understanding of the project’s complexity. At the same time, they have been open to thinking differently and finding smarter solutions along the way.”
